Mixed Metals - Grade 1All grade 1 metals were recycled through Metalogics. The materials brought into Metalogics are sorted and separated into Ferrous material, Non-Ferrous material and fluff. The Ferrous metals are sold to mills and foundries where it is melted and formed into new steel. Non-Ferrous material is sold to mills and foundries where it is melted and formed into new non-ferrous products (copper, aluminum, brass...). Finally fluff is sold to licensed Ontario waste facilities for proper disposal.
Mixed Materials - Grade 4All grade 4 mixed materials are brought to Draglam for sorting and further recycling. All materials that are not contaminated are placed in bins with like materials for further breakdown & processing (BEP). They are then sold to a multitude of purchasers and reintroduced into the manufacturing stream as base materials. Mixed materials consisted of fabrics, plastics, glass, cardboards and more.

Mixed Woods - Grade 3All grade 3 wood was recycled through Tidemore. The items will be sorted at Tidemore. Potential wood waste markets include feedstock for wood composite materials, paper pulp, fuel for energy generation, animal bedding and litter, mulch, soil amendment or compost, landfill cover and road stabilization. If it is used as an energy source, wood waste may be processed into briquettes, charcoal or pellets, as well as liquid or gaseous fuels.
